Close to the village of Argassi you will find Mount Skopos which has some amazing panoramic views of this area.
Its highest altitude is 492m. The particular interest of this region lies in the remains of forest Quercus ilex and Quercus coccifera in the superior sections of the hill. Apart from these arborised types you may also find: Calycotome villosa, Olea europaea, Phlomis fruticosa, Hippocrepis emerus, Aurinia saxatilis, Anthyllis vulneraria, Putoria calabrica, Malcomia maritima, Asplenium ceterach, Coronilla glauca
