Melissiotisses took their name from Melissi, name of the village's region where during the 17th century existed a monastery , dedicated to The Virgin Mary, Melissiotissa. The women of the village thought they could share all their goods with you. In the village Koiliomenos, they built their shop which has all the products that the Women Cooperative makes for you.
