Loucha

Loucha is one of the few parts of the island that has not been affected by tourism and one of the few villages left untouched by the earthquake. It is a beautiful village with stone houses, landscaped gardens with stone fences and steep, narrow cobbled streets. The traditional architecture gives a strong feeling of travelling back in time. Equally stunning is the location of the village. It is set above an enchanting valley, and it is inside this valley that villagers have their vineyards and allotments. The landscape is magical and relaxing and gives a taste of how life is in the mountainous areas of the island.
