The Western Coast of Zakynthos

With a rocky landscape there are many coves to be found and caves to explore, the location of the majority of these coves are off the beaten path and haven't been affected by tourism.

At least five of the rare types of vegetation that Zakynthos has, can be found in biotopes off the Western coast: Asperula naufraga, Brassica cretica, Dianthus fruticosus, Hypericum aegypticum and Lomelosia crenata.
