Venetian Aqueduct
Upon seeing the Venetian aqueduct you will understand its importance of its time. It was constructed back in the 16th Century by the Venetians and all that remains is the ornate stone building with small embossed inscriptions and a stone fountain. This aqueduct once supplied water to all of Zakynthos Town and once you see the old stone troughs and pipework you can let your imagination run wild and travel back in time! You should come and check it out from close up, sit back on the stone steps beneath the shade of the trees and either stare out at the sea or gaze up at the greenness of the hill above.
