Kayaking route from Keri to Marathonisi

Start from the port of Keri and head east towards Marathonisi. Once you arrive row around the island, while doing so you will see two beaches. One is sandy and the other is made up of small pebbles. On the beach that consists of small pebbles you will see to one side a small cave. Here is a good spot to stop and take a break from the sun as inside the cave in the shade there is a small beach where the sea is crystal clear. Now continue on to the other side of the island and explore the depths of the sea here while snorkeling. Marathonisi truly is beautiful, the vegetation grows in the most unlikely of places and it is worth taking your time here to explore as much as you can. The winds in this area are usually calm but it is still better to go in the morning as they may become stronger in the afternoon.
