Argassi

At the foot of Mountain Skopos, close to the charming Vasilikos and not far from town you will find the seaside resort Argassi. Most accommodation here is located on the beach so you can admire the sea from your balcony and be lulled to sleep by the sound of it! The sandy beach although small in width has its own beauty, a special feature being that of an old Venetian bridge that dominates the Southern end of the beach. On the main street you can find supermarkets, restaurants, bars, cafes, fast food joints and generally anything else you might need. Although Argassi gives you the impression that it offers a quiet peaceful holidays things are not exactly so, within the region there are some of the most popular restaurants on the island and along the road towards town are the best clubs. Close to Zakynthos Town and Vasilikos, by the sea, quiet but also offering an interesting, lively night out if you so wish Argassi is certainly an ideal place stay.
